Method Help: This procedure validates the heat transfer characteristics of the sensor under high flow conditions. Perform the test in room temperature water with the sensor supported vertically. The sensor must be completely covered and the water must be kept still. During the test, the heater drive current is set to a pre-set value. The measured Delta T temperature (the temperature difference between the two pins) is measured and compared against a stored value. See the TA2 Installation and Operations Manual for other details of the test including recommended comparison between the measured and stored values.
